Does deleting in Rollaway delete photos from iCloud?
Yes, if iCloud Photos is on: a photo deleted on your iPhone is deleted on all your devices.
Why didn't the storage on my iPhone change?
Deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. To get the space back right away, open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted → Select → Delete All.
I only need space on this iPhone. What should I do?
Turn on Optimize iPhone Storage in Settings → Apps → Photos. Full-size originals stay in iCloud and the iPhone keeps smaller copies.
Why don't I see some of my photos?
Photos synced from a computer and photos in shared albums can't be deleted by apps, so Rollaway doesn't show them. iOS also locks the Hidden album: review those photos in the Photos app.
Can I start over?
Yes: Settings → Reset all progress. Rollaway forgets which photos you kept or marked; the photos themselves are not touched.
Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
Rollaway is made by Vladimir Shirokun. It doesn't collect any data.
- Your photos stay on your device. Rollaway reads your photo library only to show it month by month and to delete the items you confirm. Photos and videos are processed on your iPhone and are never sent to the developer or anyone else.
- No servers, accounts, analytics or tracking. Rollaway contains no third-party SDKs and makes no network requests of its own. Photos stored in iCloud are downloaded by the iOS Photos framework.
- Deletion is always confirmed. Rollaway deletes photos only through the standard iOS confirmation dialog. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days.
- Progress stays on your device. Which photos you kept or marked is saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone (and in your device backups, if you use them). Deleting the app removes it.
Because Rollaway collects no data, it collects none from children either. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Questions: vladimir.shirokun@gmail.com.
